The Scottish Provident business protection team is solely dedicated to business protection. The team is highly experienced in advising companies across a range of areas and each member works closely with IFAs to provide training, seminars, technical support and sales development.
Due to their experience and knowledge the team is the first choice for Business Protection training for many nationals and networks.
Jerry is our National Corporate Sales Manager and heads up the Business Protection Team. He has over 40 years of experience in the financial services industry, most of which has been spent advising corporate clients within the field of business protection.
Jerry previously delivered the SOFA ‘Access to excellence’ programme for business protection and continues to run seminars and provide commentary to the trade press.
Dave Dawson is our Corporate Sales Manager for Scotland and Northern Ireland and with over 24 years service in the industry he brings a wealth of knowledge to the team.
Dave provides support to IFAs who are using relevant life policies for the first time and marketing advice to maximise on the potential opportunities that business protection offers.
With over 30 years experience in financial services Andrew is able to bring a depth of knowledge and experience to the table.
His background in marketing and as an IFA working closely with accountants gives him the ability to translate complex technical concepts into everyday workable opportunities.
His combined background in pensions, investments, and protection, gives him the ability to fit business protection into the overall holistic framework of advice to clients.
David is our Corporate Sales Manager for the South. Along with 23 years experience in financial services, he also has a great insight into the SME business model, having been a Partner himself in a Business Protection IFA practice. He works closely with financial advisers to deliver tailored training to suit their business protection needs.
Tony has over 26 years of experience covering investments, mortgages, personal protection, pensions and corporate protection.
His career started at Prudential Assurance where he was their youngest agent and other previous roles were with SJP and Morgan Stanley.
His focus is supporting advisers on developing specialist and professional connections to develop their business protection offering.
Ian is our National Partnerships & Corporate Sales Manager; with over 27 years experience working in the Banking and Life Assurance business.
A well known, established presenter, he offers valuable support and perspective to those looking to grow and expand their protection sales.
